Suresh Raina became first Indian batsman to score a century in International T20 (twenty-twenty) Cricket, when he slammed 101 runs off just 60 deliveries in a match played against South Africa on 2nd May, 2010 at the Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet in St Lucia

Match Stats: India batting first posted a score of 186 for the loss of 5 wickets from their 20 overs; thanks to an excellent display of power hitting by Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh. South Africa in their chase came close to the Indian total but, a loss of a few quick wickets in the end meant that they only manage 172 runs on board. India thus won the match by 14 runs. Raina was made the man of the match.
