Indian Cricketer Rohit Sharma made his One day International (ODI) debut against Ireland at the Civil Service Cricket Club Ground in Belfast on 23rd of June, 2007.

Brief Match Stats: India won the toss and invited Ireland to bat first. Ireland managed to put up 193 runs on board from their full quota of 50 overs. Niall O'Brien top scored for them with 52 runs.
A rain interruption meant that India were set a revised target of 171 runs from 39 overs. They easily managed to chase down this revised target 34.5 overs for the loss of just one wicket. Gautam Gambhir top scored with 80 runs and remained unbeaten till the end.
Unfortunately Rohit Sharma got no opportunity to bat on that date.
