Dennis Lillee of Australia is the first bowler to claim 5 or more wickets in a ODI (One Day International) match.
Lillee achieved this marvelous feat when took 5 wickets for 34 runs (in 12 overs) in the 1975 Prudential World Cup match played against Pakistan on 7 June 1975 at Headingley, Leeds.
Thanks to his brilliant performance Australia won the match by 73 runs.

Batting first Australia posted a score of 278 for 7 in their full allotted quota of 60 Overs. Ross Edwards top scored for Australia with 80 runs. In their chase Pakistan were hit by a Lillee storm and were bundled out for a score of 205 in 53 overs. Dennis Lillee was handed over the man of the match award.
Note that this was a 60 overs-a-side match.
