First Bowler To Claim 5 Or More Wickets In A T20 Match

Umar Gul of Pakistan is the first bowler to claim 5 wicket haul in a T20 Match.

Gul took 5 wickets for just 6 runs (in 3 overs) in a T20 World Cup match played between Pakistan and New Zealand on 13 June 2009 at the Kennington Oval, London. 

Thanks to his brilliant performance Pakistan won that match by 6 wickets.

Batting first New Zealand could post only 99 runs on board with Gul running through their lower middle order. Pakistan managed to chase down this target in just 13.1 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. The man of the match award was bagged by Umar Gul.
