First Cricketer To Score A Half Century In T20 Cricket.

Ricky Ponting of Australia became the first batsman to score a half century in T20 cricket when he made 98 unbeaten runs against New Zealand on 17 February 2005. 

The match played at the Eden Park, Auckland was the first ever T20 International.
