Jim Laker of England became the first Cricketer to bag a ten-wicket haul in a Test Match Innings when he claimed all ten Australian Wickets in the second Aussie innings of a test match (Ashes) played at Old Trafford between 25 - 31 July, 1956.
Laker bowled an incredible 51.2 overs during the innings - which included 23 maidens and gave away just 53 runs while picking up all 10 Aussie wickets.
