The legendary Sachin Tendulkar made his One Day International (ODI) Debut against Pakistan at the Gujranwala Stadium on 18th December 1989. Sachin was only 16 at that time.
Sachin who went on to become the greatest run getter of all times, could not score a single run that day as he was caught by Wasim Akram of the bowling of Waqar Younis. Pakistan went on to win that match by 7 runs.
